Lecture by Professor Amahl Bishara, associate professor of Anthropology at Tufts University. Bishara is the author of Back Stories: U.S. News Production and Palestinian Politics (Stanford 2013), and the director of Across Oceans, Among Colleagues, a documentary about the Committee to Protect Journalists’ work in the Middle East during the perilous seasons of 2001-2002. She also directed Degrees of Incarceration, a documentary about the impact of political imprisonment on Aida Refugee Camp.
