Favorite thing about Scripps: The opportunities to be involved in research, internships, and leadership roles on-campus and off-campus, like joining Scripps Associated Students (SAS) or working at The Motley Coffeehouse, Ruth Chandler Williamson Gallery, or Scripps College Academy. Students learn to draw connections across disciplines and are confident in applying what they learn in the classroom outside of it through hands-on experience.
Why a women’s college: My peers and professors were instrumental in my growth, challenging and encouraging me to become a conscientious and critical thinker. I continue to be involved in what they are doing post-graduation, which speaks to the strength and support of our community that extends beyond our college years.
