Hi everyone! My name is Frances, and I am a second-year student at Scripps College. My prospective major is English, and I will probably be minoring in Biology. I was drawn to Scripps because of its tight-knit community and beautiful campus when looking for the college I would attend. When I attended my admitted students’ day, I knew that this was the place for me.
One of the things that I love most about Scripps is the small college experience. Scripps College has made me feel at home, from the tight-knit community of students to the close relationships I can foster with faculty. Additionally, being at a small college means the school’s resources are at your fingertips, as faculty, administration, and student clubs are all within a quick email. Everyone here is so supportive and friendly, and there is a real sense of collaboration and camaraderie that you can sense walking through Seal Court or Elm Tree Lawn.
I feel beyond fortunate to be part of the Scripps College community. If you have any questions about what it’s like to be a student here, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. I would love to chat with you!
