Meet Isabel ’27

Hello everybody! My name is Isabel and I am a sophomore at Scripps College. I intend to major in Politics and minor in Spanish. Outside of Admission Ambassador work, I am a Residential Coordinator at GJW Hall and a member of the Catholic Student Association at the McAlister Center. If you have any questions or concerns regarding these activities, feel free to reach out!  Going into my second year, I truly enjoy being at Scripps College and the wonderful community here! I feel that I am truly supported by other students and staff to succeed both on an academic and personal scale. I also find that I thrive in the small class environments as I get to know my professor and feel more comfortable asking for help one-on-one. In addition, being able to take classes at other campuses allows me to get a sense of the 5C community as a whole and interact with students at different campuses.  Aside from academics, I do enjoy the fun events at Scripps College, such as Levitt on the Lawn and Matriculation Dance. I also love walking over to Claremont Village and picking up snacks from Trader Joe’s. Overall, Scripps College provides me with a wonderful experience and I truly encourage others to apply here!
