Getting to Camp

Camp Scripps 2024 Map

Upon your arrival at Camp, first, you will need to park your vehicle on Platt Blvd.

  • Please note that there is ongoing construction on Platt Blvd. and the parking lot outside of the Rose Garden is fenced off and unavailable.

Walk to Dorsey Hall Foyer to pick up your room key, conference card, and other materials.

After you pick up your check-in materials, go back to your vehicle and unload on Platt Blvd (behind Browning Hall) or Amherst Avenue (behind Dorsey/Browning Halls).

  • The area behind Dorsey/Browning Halls is for loading and unloading purposes only and is reserved for Scripps staff. Parking for Camp is not allowed.

Long-term parking is available in the surrounding streets and the Alumnae Field underground parking garage next to the Tiernan Field House. The entrance is at the south end of the Alumnae Field off North Mills Avenue. The parking gate will be closed, so you will need your conference card to scan in and enter.

If you’re interested in ride sharing to or from the airport, here’s a spreadsheet you can put your information into to coordinate with your fellow campers: Camp 2024 Ridesharing

Registration and Pricing Information

Registration for Camp is a two-step process:

  • STEP 1 includes selecting your ticket type (overnight or day Camper) and payment.
  • STEP 2 includes completing a form about your room preferences, meal selection, and additional information.
    • Once you complete STEP 1, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to proceed to STEP 2. This step will only be considered valid once STEP 1 is complete and payment has been received.
  • Once you complete both steps, your registration is considered complete.

For the Creative Caucus and workshop presenters, online registration is expected to open on Wednesday, May 8 at 10 a.m. PDT. A special link to pre-register will be emailed to this group on May 8. Registration closes on Wednesday, June 5, 2024.

For all other Campers, online registration is expected to open on Wednesday, May 15 at 10 a.m. PDT. The registration link will be emailed to this group on May 15. Pre-registration is not available so please plan accordingly. Registration closes on Wednesday, June 5, 2024.

Waitlist notice: Camp Scripps is a popular event that tends to sell out on the first day of registration. If Camp 2024 seems to be sold out when you register, we recommend joining the waitlist. We have previously been able to accommodate most waitlist requests. When registration opens on May 15, complete the online registration forms (STEP 1 and STEP 2) to be added to the waitlist.

Registration by mail is no longer an option. If you need assistance, the Office of Alumnae Engagement is happy to register you over the phone. Please email or call us before the opening of registration at (909) 621-8054 to schedule an appointment.

During STEP 2 of registration, you may list your top 5 room preferences (#1 being your top pick) and top 3 proximity preferences (#1 being your top pick). In addition to the dorm and room number, we will take into consideration who you would like to be roomed close to. Be prepared to indicate the full name and class year of the Camper(s) (up to three) who you would like to be in close proximity.

DORM FLOOR PLANS
Please note that single occupancy rooms are indicated by a 1 or 1** and double occupancy rooms are indicated by a 2 or 3 on the floor plans.

Social Media Policy

Camp is a raucous celebration of bonding, togetherness, and silliness. In order to create an atmosphere off privacy, trust, and safety for Campers, it is requested that all participants in Camp, this includes Campers, Admin, and Staff, refrain from posting ANY images of Campers on social media without the express permission of the Camper. The one exception for posting is the Camp Scripps private Facebook group. However, we would also ask that you not copy or save any images from the Camp Facebook group in order to share them elsewhere.
