Dear Scripps Community,
It is with great excitement that I write to introduce the the First-Generation @ Scripps newsletter for the 2014-2015 academic year. Our First-Gen program interns, Bea Maldonado ’15 and Leah Hughes ’15, have been hard at work on programming for the first-gen community and writing this newsletter.
The newsletter will be published at the beginning of each month and is intended to highlight the experiences and achievements of many of our first-generation students as well as bring awareness to first-gen issues in higher education.
