Claremont Concert Orchestra Winter Concert
The Joint Music Program of Claremont McKenna, Harvey Mudd, Pitzer, and Scripps Colleges presents The Claremont Concert Orchestra performing symphonic works by Barroso, Grieg, Khachaturian, & Strauss Jr.
There will be two performances. An evening concert at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 19 and a Sunday matinee at 2:00 p.m. on October 20.
Concerts will be held in Garrison Theater at the Scripps College Performing Arts Center. We are honored to welcome visiting conductor, Raphaela Lacerda for the Fall 2024 concerts.
The program includes
Strauss Jr., Overture to Die Fledermaus,
Grieg, Norwegian Dances,
Khachaturian, Suite from Masquerade, and
Barroso, Aquarela do Brasil (arr. by Jamberê).
