Elizabeth Turk ’83 and John Ochsendorf in Conversation: Suspended Meditation
Artist, sculptor, and Scripps alum Elizabeth Turk ’83 returns to campus with John Ochsendorf, MIT professor of architecture and civil and environmental engineering, to speak about the creation of Turk’s sculpture Suspended Meditation. Inspired by images of disruption—including Harold Edgerton’s atomic explosions—Suspended Meditation is housed at MIT to spark layered conversation blending art, engineering, and science.
