“Marking Time” Gallery Reception with Visiting Artist April Katz
Denison Library and the Clark Humanities Museum are delighted to invite you to the gallery reception for April Katz’s Marking Time, a stunning exhibition of collages, digitized photographs and prints recently donated to Denison Library’s collection. Marking Time, as well as Katz’s artists’ book and related archival materials, explores the relationship of a mother and daughter across the miles and the role of time and calendars in our daily lives. Artist, printmaker and Morrill Professor Emeritus at Iowa State University, Katz is the former president of the Southern Graphics Council, and her art has been exhibited throughout the US for over 30 years.
Join us for light refreshments, charcuterie, and the chance to chat with the artist herself at the Clark Humanities Museum gallery reception from 5 PM to 6 PM on Thursday, February 6th. We hope to see you there!
