Mark Greif is a founding editor of the journal n+1 and the author of the new essay collection Against Everything. His essays tackle subjects ranging from the figure of the hipster to the sociology of punk, hip-hop, and rock music to Occupy Wall Street to the meaning of life.
Greif will read from his new collection and talk with Scripps English professor Aaron Matz about the prospects for intellectual and political resistance in our post-election reality.
This event is presented by the Scripps College English Department.
