Ms. Gaitán brought both of her performance pieces to the Claremont Colleges, CHOLA CON CELLO: A HOMEGIRL IN THE PHILHARMONIC (1998) and THE ADVENTURES OF CONNIE CHANCLA (2000).
The IDCLS is thrilled to be hosting Ms. Gaitán’s THE CEDAR BOX (Journey of Ashes), a reading from Ms. Gaitán’s memoir-in-progress with a performance of two original pieces for the cello.
