One of the most famous – if not THE most famous – philosophers alive today, Derek Parfit, Global Distinguished Professor of Philosophy, New York University; Emeritus Senior Research Fellow, All Souls College, Oxford; and Visiting Professor of Philosophy, Harvard University, delivers the Merlan Lecture.
