Nora Zelevansky novels are witty page-turners. Her heroines are sparkly and sassy: from Beatrice Bernstein in Zelevansky’s debut Semi-Charmed Life to Marjorie Plum who stands at the center of her second novel, Will You Won’t You Want Me? These young women face life’s challenges with zeal and good humor. Zelevansky ‘99 will share how her time at Scripps influenced her writing and helped her build a career as a journalist.
In addition to her novels, Zelevansky’s writing has appeared in ELLE, T Magazine (The New York Times), Town & Country, the Los Angeles Times, The Wall Street Journal, and Vanity Fair, among others. She lives with her husband and daughter in Brooklyn, New York.
