| Professor Harley completed a one-month residency at the Shanghai Theatre Academy in China as a guest teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework which is a type of voicework for actor training programs.
She was invited to perform at the Art Gallery of Ontario and the Toronto Summer Music Festival in Kollwitz Konnex, a 50-minute vocal work that she commissioned in 2013 from composer Ralf Gawlick. Professor Harley worked in collaboration with composer Marjorie Merryman ’72 on their upcoming NEA ArtWorks grant-funded work Miracles of Thekla which will have its world premiere at Scripps on Saturday November 2, 2019. |
