| Professor Folino was one of 20 participants selected for a professional development course organized by Accademia della Crusca, one of the most prominent and leading institutions in the field of research on the Italian language, Florence, Italy, July 2018.
He attended a professional development course for professors of Italian abroad organized by Scuola Dante Alighieri, in Mondavio, Italy, July 2018. Professor Forlino’s paper “Decameron VII.6: A meta-textual reading of love triangles in Eastern and Western wor(l)ds” has been accepted in a panel for a conference organized by the Renaissance Society of America and to be held in Toronto in March 2019. |
