| Professor Barcenas-Mooradian’s Advanced-Seminar class “Cultural Competence in the Health Professions” received a Mellon Interdisciplinary Humanities Initiative award for the integration of a community engaged pedagogy working with local organizations, including the Pomona Economic Opportunity Center and the Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center.
