Regional Events

Each fall, parents come together to create care packages for first-year students as a special gift leading up to their first finals. Visit the Fall Care Package Parties page for more information. If you are interested in hosting and/or participating in this event email our office.

Each summer we host a series of parties for both students and parents of the incoming class, welcoming them to the Scripps community. They provide an opportunity for first-year families to meet their peers, and to answer questions about campus life. Visit our Summer Welcome Reception page for more information.

Each year Scripps features a regional events series. Inspired by the Scripps community’s love of lifelong learning, these programs offer unique cultural experiences guided by our expert alumnae, families, and friends. Past events have included behind the scenes access to The Broad Museum of Los Angeles, the San Diego Zoo, The Art Institute of Chicago, among others.
