Saturday workshop issues to include: Reader’s Theater: “A Matter of Vocabulary”; “Immigration and Social Policy”; “Culture and Organizing”; and “Women and Leadership.” Saturday’s activities will also include ‘roleplay’ workshops on community organizing; “SongSpeech,” “Habits of Resistance” and a discussion of the form; and the singing of new and old political songs.
A panel/participant discussion and performance time will conclude the day’s events.
