Martha Gonzalez, associate professor of Chicanx/Latinx studies, will deliver this year’s commencement address at the University of California, Los Angeles’ Herb Alpert School of Music. Gonzalez, who received a MacArthur Fellowship in 2022, is a UCLA alum from the Class of 1999.
