The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS) Athenas volleyball team capped its first perfect regular season with a victory against the University of LaVerne on Saturday, October 29. The undefeated Athenas will play LaVerne again on Thursday, November 3, in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) semifinals. If CMS emerges victorious through Saturday’s finals, the team will earn its fifth straight SCIAC Tournament title. Izze Stolzoff ’25 and Ashley Murashige ’25 represent Scripps on this year’s Athenas volleyball team.
