Evelyn Ross ’09 will be inducted into the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS) Ted Ducey Hall of Fame as part of the January 2023 inductee class. Ross, a cross-country and track and field athlete for the CMS Athenas, helped both teams win five combined Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) championships. During her time on the cross-country team, she qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships three times and was first-team All-SCIAC in each of her final three seasons, as well as SCIAC Athlete of the Year as a senior. Her CMS and SCIAC records in the steeplechase track and field event still stand, and she was a two-time All-American.
