Olivia Truesdale ’21 received a commendation award in the Korea Times’ 15th English Economic Essay Contest for university students. Truesdale, a foreign languages major at Scripps, is currently studying at Yonsei University in Seoul. The essay, which was inspired by her summer internship at the United States Embassy in Seoul and was supported through a Scripps internship grant, will be published in the Times.
