Fall 2020 Message from Dean of Students

New Laspa Center Grant Will Fund Student-Led COVID-19 Relief Efforts
Scripps College Laspa Center for Leadership has introduced its 2020 Community Action Grant for current Scripps College students. Awarded in amounts between $250 to $2,000, the grant will support projects that help students’ hometown communities better cope with the impact of COVID-19.

Scripps College faculty will be featured daily during the week of June 1, 2020, on WAMC Northeast Public Radio’s Academic Minute, a daily podcast dedicated to condensed updates on groundbreaking research. Hosted by Dr. Lynn Pasquerella, president of the Association of American Colleges and Universities, Academic Minute features a different professor each day, drawing experts from top research institutions.

As we begin our third week of remote instruction, it has been a pleasure to hear about the robust learning and engagement taking place in formal and informal online forums.
