Professor of Biology Gretchen Edwalds-Gilbert, vice president for academic affairs and dean of faculty, discussed the successes and challenges of the fall 2021 semester with Inside Higher Ed. Seniors seemed to embrace the in-person fall semester the most, she said, with the College’s new outdoor classrooms proving especially popular: “We’re the envy of the neighbors here in Claremont.”
