In the L.A. Times Book Club newsletter, the L.A. Times noted Myriam J. A. Chancy’s April 5 book launch for her newest novel, Village Weavers. Chancy is the Hartley Burr Alexander Chair in the Humanities at Scripps College.
The L.A. Times wrote that Chancy’s book launch event was “sponsored by the Beyond Baroque Literary Arts Center in Venice” and that Chancy appeared “in conversation with Talia Lakshmi Kolluri, author of What We Fed to the Manticore.”
