Scripps College continues its week-long takeover of The Academic Minute podcast, which features researchers from colleges and universities around the world as they tell listeners about “what’s new and exciting in the academy and of all the ways academic research contributes to solving the world’s toughest problems and to serving the public good.”
Associate Professor of Biology Patrick Ferree is the third guest for Scripps’ takeover of the podcast. In his episode of The Academic Minute, he talks about “how certain chromosomes selfishly hijack reproductive development to gain a transmission advantage.”
