Scripps College is thrilled to announce it has been ranked number one for best overall student experience by the Wall Street Journal.
The ranking is based on a survey by the Wall Street Journal and research and analytics company College Pulse. Together, they polled 50,000 students and recent alums from 500 colleges and universities nationwide, including Ivy League schools Harvard, Princeton, and Yale and California institutions UCLA, Stanford, and USC.
“Scripps really feels like a resort,” says Jon’Nae Sylvester ’24. “It’s so pretty, and that definitely does boost morale.”
The survey included questions about campus facilities, dining, housing, extracurricular activities, mental health support, campus safety, sense of community, party life, and more. In addition to Scripps’ number one ranking, the other four undergraduate Claremont Colleges placed in the top 12 for student experience.
