In a ranking from The Wall Street Journal and College Pulse, Scripps College has been named as the #4 top liberal arts college in the Western United States. Earlier this year, The Wall Street Journal and College Pulse also ranked Scripps as #1 in student experience out of 500 colleges and universities in the US.
The ranking uses an “outcomes-focused methodology” to assess the nation’s best colleges for 2025, factoring in students’ campus experiences and data on how well schools prepare graduates for financial success.
In addition to Scripps, The Wall Street Journal named Claremont McKenna College as the top liberal arts college in the Western US, followed by Harvey Mudd at #2 and Pomona College at #4, cementing The Claremont Colleges in the top four spots.
