As was previously announced, the College will be closed from Thursday, December 24 through Sunday, January 3. The College reopens for normal business on Monday, January 4. During this period, The Claremont Colleges will make much needed improvements to our electrical infrastructure in an effort to improve reliability and energy efficiency. Please note that Scripps College—along with the rest of the Claremont Consortium—will be without electrical power from Sunday, December 27, through Wednesday, December 30. Website and email services will continue to work throughout the closure, but telephone and fax service will be impacted. Concerned faculty, students, and staff should contact the Maintenance Office at extension 18281 with their questions or by email at [email protected].
I am thankful for the many blessings and gifts we all enjoy as a part of the Scripps community. Thank you for everything you do to support the excellence of Scripps College. Bob, Matt, Will, and Lexie join me in sending you our warmest wishes for the holiday season.
