Scripps College Dean of Faculty Amy Marcus-Newhall’s presentation on changes in faculty teaching load voted on by the College last year was featured in an article in Inside Higher Ed, in its coverage of the recent Association of American Colleges and Universities annual meeting in Washington, D.C. Scripps College faculty, senior administrators, and Board of Trustees engaged in a comprehensive process to realign duties to help faculty advance their best work, resulting in positive change and a model for liberal arts colleges.
