Scripps College alumna Katie Campbell-Morrison ’11 served as production assistant based in Cuba for the making of CNN’s documentary about the Elián González case, which premieres tonight on CNN. Campbell-Morrison blogs about the significance of the film, entitled Elián González and the Battle of Ideas, and provides perspective on the lessons Americans can learn from the examination of the international incident relative to today’s divisive politics and ideological disputes. Campbell-Morrison is currently pursuing her master’s in divinity at Yale Divinity School.
