Emma Wo ’12, the current reigning Miss Hawaii USA, is representing the Aloha State in the 2015 Miss USA competition in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The honors media studies and English literature graduate has applied her academic preparation as an executive at Bennet Group Public Relations, where she represents clients in travel tourism and real estate. In addition to her PR work, Wo is a fashion blogger and owner of TheAlohaBabe.com, a site where she chronicles her personal style and experiences as Miss Hawaii USA. Wo got her start in journaling about fashion trends as an intern for Vogue Magazine’s Fashion Closet in New York City. When she is not traveling, Wo volunteers for the Hawaii Rotary Youth Foundation and serves as a career coach in the YWCA’s Going Places Network.
