M. Jean Gorman, vice president of development and college relations at Scripps College, announced today the appointment of Carolyn Ditte Wagner as director of corporations and foundations, effective August 16.

Wagner was previously director of programs and external affairs at The Milken Institute, a non-profit think tank in Santa Monica. She has also volunteered for the Council of Library Foundation of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

A Phi Beta Kappa graduate from Scripps in the humanities, Carolyn holds a Ph.D. in American intellectual history from Johns Hopkins University.
