The Departments of Music at Scripps College, Claremont Graduate University, and Pomona College announce the return of Friday Noon Concerts—a series featuring a variety of musicians and music—beginning February 7 and continuing Fridays through May 9. Each 30-minute concert will begin promptly at 12:15 p.m. in Balch Auditorium on the Scripps College campus, unless otherwise noted. These concerts are free and open to the public. On February 7, Gold Coast Trio presents Works by Amy Beach and Leonard Bernstein, featuring Rachel Huang, violin; Susan Lamb Cook, cello; Hao Huang, piano.
On February 14, Arias and Cantata by G. F. Handel, featuring Katharin Rundus, soprano; Alfred Cramer, violin; Roger Lebow, cello; Graydon Beeks, harpsichord.
On February 21, Francois de Fossa’s Trio Concertante, Op. 18 No. 1, featuring Todor Pelev, violin; Roger Lebow, cello; Jack Sanders, guitar.
On February 28, French Two-Piano Music of the 20th Century, featuring I-Ching Tsai, piano, and Shang-Ying Tsai, piano. This concert will take place at Lyman Hall in Thatcher Music Building on the Pomona College campus.
