Fourteen student artists at Scripps College will exhibit their work in a wide range of mediums – computer art, video, photography, painting, sculpture, and installation – at the 2000 Scripps Senior Art Exhibition, Pulse, from April 28 through May 14 at the Ruth Chandler Williamson Gallery, on the Scripps campus. The opening reception for the exhibition will take place on Friday, April 28, from 6 to 9 p.m. Regular hours for the gallery are 1 to 5 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday.
According to Teale Hatheway, one of the artists, "The students involved in the show have worked tirelessly towards a dynamic product. This effort coupled with our sincere appreciation for each other has created a cohesive display of divers projects that support each other not in style, but in the quality of their explorations."
The senior artists selected to present their work include: Elizabeth Beeley, Tasha Curran Clarkson, Angela Franks, Teale Hatheway, Ekaterina Kamysheva, Sabrina Liao, Chi-Lan Lieu, Brie McFarland, Rebekah Miles, Tricia Moodie, Edy Moulton, Britt Rynearson, Lisa TenEyck, and Erica E. Yamada.
