Vice President for Enrollment Victoria Romero offered her perspective in an article for Forbes advising prospective students on how not to write their college application essays. In the article, Romero cautions students against writing on a topic they don’t truly care about, saying, “I think students try to figure out what an admission officer wants to read, and the reality is the reader begins every next essay with no expectations about the content they want to read.”
