Scripps College alumna Alison Saar ’78 is featured in the National Museum of Women in the Arts’ current exhibition “Revival: Women Sculptors and Photo-Based Artists.” Saar’s sculpture En Pointe (2010, bronze) is among the representations of human and animal that inspire a “transcendent encounter” with the art.
