Scripps alum Madeline Sy ’18 was featured in a U.S. News article on why students chose their colleges. The English major was drawn to Scripps because of its membership in The Claremont Colleges, its clubs and organizations—especially the Student Investment Fund—and its senior thesis requirement. According to Sy, “Scripps College has given me rich, diverse learning experiences [and] the best of both worlds: the supportiveness of a small women’s college and the resources of a midsized university.”
