Interests
My research interests lie in contemporary Chicana Literature, specifically, and in 19th and 20th century Chicano literature, more generally. My work-in-progress is titled "Virgins, Martyrs and Whores: Mexican Cultural Icons of Womanhood in Chicana Literature." I also do work in Brazilian Literature, specifically by contemporary women.
