Instant Coffee Aging Wine

There is a difference between letterpress speed and internet speed, and the students were asked to explore this phenomenon. The resulting stories were illustrated by images that were printed from photopolymer plates that the students made themselves with our new equipment which was developed with the help of Goudy Lecturer Chip Schilling. One story concerned the speed at which an earthquake destroys things. Another was about the speedy process of growing old. The paper used was Somerset Satin, and the book is bound in the Gary Frost sewn-boards binding style with gold cloth and Thai metallic paper. The format is somewhat oblong, with a size of 8.25″ wide and 5.75″ tall. Sixty copies were printed, bound and completed even before the publication party!
