The Scripps College Press has been making collaborative student books for thirty years, publishing one edition each semester for a total of sixty editions. This new bibliography, Sixty Over Thirty, of all the books produced by the students in the Typography and the Book Arts class, devotes four pages to each book and includes several photos of each book. The accompanying text by Kitty Maryatt tells fascinating stories about the making of the books that you probably would never know by just looking through each book. Selections of the students’ intelligent and varied writings are included in each section. The size of the catalog is 8.5 x 11 inches, and it was printed in a limited edition at Advanced Color Graphics. It’s a hefty, perfect-bound volume.
