The mission of the Sallie Tiernan Field House is to provide resources and support to enrich the holistic wellness of the diverse Scripps college community. Through a student-centered staff, exceptional programming, and a state-of-the-art facility, the Field House implements a wide variety of initiatives to promote, educate, and create awareness around personal and community health and wellness. The Field House is committed to providing an environment where students, staff, and faculty can develop healthy behaviors that contribute to academic and professional success as well as a lifetime of well-being.
The Tiernan Field House endeavors to pursue inclusive, diverse, and accessible facilities and programming to support the Scripps community. We wish to push boundaries to facilitate wellness goals for students, faculty, and staff. It is with this in mind that we engage in community listening and focus groups, continual assessment, and growth to meet the ever-changing needs of our diverse populations.

Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS) Athletics
CMS Athletics is a joint intercollegiate program between Scripps, Claremont McKenna and Harvey Mudd colleges. Teams are represented by two mascots, the Athenas and the Stags.
